Old Glendale on Glendale Avenue
Two craftsman bungalows on Glendale Avenue were incorporated into the Glendale Studios compound rather than demolished — until now. In their place: a beige studio development by New York's East End Capital.

Once upon a time, there were actual homes on Glendale Avenue; great side-gabled things with wide balconies, and little craftsman bungalows—the two you see below, rather than be torn down, were incorporated into the Glendale Studios film and television soundstage compound.

They were demolished recently and in their place shall rise, like a great beige dead phoenix, this studio development by New York developers East End Capital.

Which they will emblazon as the East End Studio, thoughtfully naming the thing after themselves, helpfully reminding everyone that a vast quantity of development in Los Angeles is built or run by people who don’t live here.
